Making COVID-19 Testing More Accessible
15 Mar 2020

Pantai Premier Pathology is among the four private laboratories in Malaysia selected by the Ministry of Health to provide home-based COVID-19 sampling services for individuals and corporations. This helps to alleviate the growing demand for COVID-19 testing at public hospitals while reducing the risk of cross-infection.

The service enables asymptomatic individuals to undergo COVID-19 testing at their homes, offices or drive-throughs at selected Gleneagles and Pantai hospitals.

Qualified doctors and trained staff nurses will carry out the swab test on the individual and send it to Pantai Premier Pathology for analysis and evaluation. Users will receive their results within 1 to 3 days.

This service is available at all five Gleneagles and Pantai hospitals in Klang Valley, Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh in Melaka as well as Pantai Hospital Penang. There are plans to expand this service to other Gleneagles and Pantai hospitals in Penang, Perak and Johor.

Pantai Premier Pathology will also work with its general practitioner partners to provide COVID-19 testing for all other communities across Malaysia.
