In support of mass vaccination efforts around the world, our teams in Malaysia, Singapore, India, Turkey and Hong Kong have stepped up to assist the various governments in administrating COVID-19 vaccine to residents
IHH Healthcare Malaysia > Our flagship hospital Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur is one of the first private hospitals appointed by Malaysia’s Ministry of Health to administer vaccine for some 2,500 frontliners from private hospitals and clinics in Kuala Lumpur area. Also supporting phase 1 of the national vaccination programme is Pantai Hospital Klang, our second hospital in Malaysia to set up a vaccination centre on its premises for frontliners from private hospitals and clinics in Klang.
IHH Healthcare Singapore > Our primary care arm Parkway Shenton operates three vaccination centres that can inoculate up to 6,000 people daily and on top of that, provides vaccination services in two of its GP clinics.
IHH Healthcare India > Gleneagles Global Health City, Perumbakkam, Global Hospital Parel, Gleneagles Global Hospital Lakdi-ka-pul and Continental Hospitals have lent our support to the national vaccination programme since 3 March.
Fortis Healthcare > Our hospital network in India currently operates 15 vaccination centres, administering about 2,000 doses a day. Plans are underway to carry out vaccinations across all 28 Fortis hospitals to increase vaccination coverage.
Acibadem Healthcare > All 16 Acibadem hospitals in Turkey have started vaccinating our employees as well as members of the public since 14 January, giving out an average of more than 1,000 doses a day.
Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong > Also joining the city-wide vaccination programme is our team at Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, who opened a community vaccination centre within the hospital on 16 March.
