Held from 24 to 28 April, the 2023 IHH Service Week exemplifies our culture of service excellence in everything we do and for every patient we care for.
As a healthcare provider that advocates Care. For Good., how do we bring empathy to life at scale so that we can leave a lasting impact on our patients? This was the key conversation at this year’s IHH Service Week themed “Passionately Caring”.
With Patients First being one of our core values, Service Week serves as a platform to acknowledge and celebrate the exemplary service and care our people provide to our patients and their loved ones every single day as we reaffirm our commitment to service excellence.
Group COO Joe Sim reiterated that everyone at IHH has the power to touch lives and transform care as we continue to grow stronger together as one IHH family.
The highlight of this year’s Service Week is a keynote message from Dr Andrienne Boissy. Drawing from her wealth of work experience and relevant data on the topic, Dr Boissy, Chief Medical Officer at Qualtrics, shed light on how we can foster a more compassionate and caring environment through listening.
Her virtual keynote address on ‘Operationalising Empathy’ struck a chord with leaders and staff across the IHH network, who gained insights into what empathy is and practical suggestions to design it into our patient journeys.
