Saying Thanks On Medicine Day
21 Feb 2021

In celebration of Medicine Day, also known as Doctor’s Day in Turkey, our Acibadem team produced a special video thanking our doctors for the wonderful things they do for our patients.

The video generated many likes and 1.4 million clicks. Presented by Fulya Ozturk, a CNN Türk news reporter who recovered from COVID-19, it featured people on the streets and hospitals expressing their gratitude to doctors.

Some of them talked about how doctors helped them survive cancer; one even said “life stops in the absence of doctors”. A patient, who suffered severe COVID-19 infection and had to be intubated, said that he would gift a guitar to his doctor to express his appreciation. The son of a patient also transcribed a favourite Turkish folk song to express his gratitude to doctors.

Our heartfelt thanks go to all doctors around the world.
