On 1 July, nearly 300 laboratory staff from across the globe - both in-person and online -gathered for our inaugural IHH Labs Town Hall.
This landmark event united our lab entities, including Premier Integrated Labs (Malaysia), Parkway Laboratories (Singapore), Acibadem Labmed (Turkiye), and Agilus Diagnostics (India), as we harness our strengths, partnerships, and capabilities to create value for our patients and partners.
In his welcome address, IHH Group CEO Dr Prem Kumar Nair praised our Labs colleagues for their dedication in shaping our vision of becoming the world’s top medical laboratory service provider.
“Let me just say how incredibly proud I am of everything we've achieved together. In just a few short years, we’ve built a global lab business that’s not only thriving but also stands as a key growth pillar of IHH Healthcare. This success story is all thanks to your hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence. As we gather here today, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement about our future. We’re at a pivotal moment, not just for our labs but for IHH Healthcare as a whole,” said Dr Prem.
Ashok Pandit, IHH Group Chief Corporate Officer, shared our long-term strategy for building our laboratory business.
“Our big focus is to prime our laboratory business as a distinct core business and new growth engine for IHH Healthcare, increase our market share with high-end tests and position ourselves as a regional reference laboratory in Asia,” he said.
Next, a dynamic fireside chat featuring Ashok Pandit, IHH Group Chief Corporate Officer, Prof Dr Ibrahim Unsal, COO and Chief Medical Officer of IHH Laboratories; Hareeff Muhammed, CEO of Premier Integrated Labs; Dr Shawn Ng, CEO of Parkway Laboratories; Prof Dr Mustafa Serteser, CEO of Acibadem Labmed; and Anand K, CEO of Agilus Diagnostics, moderated by Janet Low, Group Head of Communications & Branding, delved into the unique aspects, staff integration efforts, digital initiatives and upcoming plans of each lab entity.
Pauline Puay, Chief People Officer at IHH Laboratories, rounded up the townhall by emphasising IHH’s commitment to empower our teams to innovate, lead and transform healthcare.
