Tan Yew Aik is the Regional Chief Executive Officer (Southern and East Malaysia) and Head of Procurement at IHH Healthcare Malaysia

Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Hospital Melaka, where he led the hospital through a period of development and transformation. Under his leadership, the hospital achieved key milestones, including major facility upgrades, sustainability initiatives, and the commissioning of new clinical blocks to enhance service delivery and patient experience. He also steered the hospital’s rebranding and next phase of growth, focusing on expanding clinical capabilities, introducing new subspecialties, and strengthening medical excellence. 

Since 2018, Yew Aik has concurrently served as Head of Pharmacy Services, IHH Healthcare Malaysia, overseeing business strategy, operational integration, and the alignment of commercial and clinical objectives across pharmacy departments nationwide. He has played a pivotal role in harmonising vendor negotiations, driving cost efficiencies, and advancing clinical pharmacy services across the network.

Beyond his leadership roles within IHH, Yew Aik has been an active contributor to the broader healthcare community. He served two elected terms as a Board Member of the Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia (APHM) and is currently serving his second term as a Board Member of the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia, appointed by the Director-General of Health.
