Tan Yew Aik is the Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh . Under his leadership, the hospital has progressed with the expansion of a new medical block, a multi-level car park and retail outlets to meet the needs of patients and stakeholders. 

Tan has 31 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. He began as a Fully Registered Pharmacist in 1993, working in both government and private hospital settings. 

The rest of his career journey has mostly been with Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh, ascending from Pharmacy Manager to Senior Operations Manager. He was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of IHH Healthcare Malaysia in 2016 before assuming the role of CEO of Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh in 2017. 

Tan is also the Head of Pharmacy Services at IHH Healthcare Malaysia, a post he has held since 2018. He oversees the overall business strategy, operations, alignment of commercial and clinical decisions of the Pharmacy Departments across 17 hospitals in Malaysia.   

Tan has been serving on the Board of Association of Private Hospitals Malaysia (APHM) since 2020, a position he has held for two terms to date. Additionally, he was appointed by the Director General of Health to the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia in 2022, where he continues to serve.
