Ivan Loh is Chief Operating Officer and Regional Chief Executive Officer (Northern) of IHH Healthcare Malaysia.

He oversees the operational and corporate functions of IHH’s healthcare businesses in Malaysia to ensure strategic resource management and the delivery of efficient and quality care to our patients. One of Ivan’s major accomplishments is spearheading the implementation of Value Driven Outcomes (VDO) across all IHH Healthcare Malaysia’s hospitals, establishing IHH as the first in the country to adopt this innovative approach. VDO fosters collaboration between management and clinicians to enhance clinical outcomes, cost-effectiveness and patient experiences by streamlining clinical pathways and optimising processes.

Ivan also serves as the Regional Chief Executive Officer (Northern) of IHH Healthcare Malaysia where he has business and strategic oversight for seven hospitals in the Northern Region.

Ivan has more than 28 years’ experience in the healthcare industry and has been with IHH Healthcare Malaysia since 1996. A Chartered Accountant by training, he began his career in one of the big four international audit firms before joining Gleneagles Hospital Penang as the Head of Finance and rising to become the Chief Executive Officer of the hospital.
