Dr Lisa Maria Schwanke is the Head of Medical and Quality, IHH Healthcare Malaysia and is responsible for shaping the medical and quality framework for the organisation. She leads key functions within Medical and Quality, including Clinical Governance and Healthcare Innovation and Digitisation.

Dr Lisa joined IHH Healthcare Malaysia in 2015 as a Resident Medical Officer at Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu. Her dedication to clinical excellence and operational efficiency saw her transition to the Malaysia Corporate Office in 2017 as Manager of Medical Affairs and Quality. She was subsequently promoted to Senior Manager, Medical Affairs and Quality in 2021, and thereafter to Assistant Vice President in 2023.

Throughout her tenure, Dr Lisa has played a key role in enhancing governance policies and frameworks. She enhanced the Clinical Risk Framework, introduced proactive medicolegal strategies and promoted the Anonymity Policy, encouraging open discussions in clinical committees.
