Cindy Choe is the Chief Strategy Officer of IHH Healthcare Malaysia. She plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery within the organisation, including long-term strategic planning and the development of innovative business models for IHH Healthcare Malaysia. She oversees strategic project planning and execution of IHH’s healthcare businesses in Malaysia.

Cindy's journey with IHH Healthcare began in 2012, and she has since taken on various leadership roles. She initially joined as Vice President of Corporate Finance and M&A, where she was instrumental in the establishment and development of Gleneagles Hospital Johor and Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong.

She operationalised the first robotic surgical technology in IHH Healthcare Malaysia as Chief Operating Officer of Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Subsequently, as Chief Executive Officer of Pantai Hospital Ampang, she established heart services in the hospital and digitalised the patient journey in the hospital’s Emergency Department.

In her previous role as the Chief Executive Officer of Prince Court Medical Centre, she led the strategic alignment and successful integration of the hospital into IHH Healthcare Malaysia following its acquisition. She embarked on value-based healthcare initiatives for Prince Court Medical Centre and improved its financial performance to the level of IHH Healthcare Malaysia hospitals.
